Create Simple Horizontal Line in Microsoft Word

This tips will show you how to create a horizontal line just like in HTML when you write code <hr/>. Horizontal rule is a line that span from horizontally across whole page. It is very useful when you want to separate sections or to create a divider in your document.

There are several horizontal rules that you can create using microsoft word. But to create it, you just need to type a specific character three times in a new paragraph and press Enter. Here's the details:

Note that this tips will only work on Microsoft Word 2000 or later versions.

wow!!! I have never noticed. Could you please give some trick about powerpoint. I saw my instructor's slides are full of moving pictures and some other tricks. Since I am a business students and need to make tons of presentations, could you please make one tip for powerpoint?
